Neurofeedback is direct training of brain function, by which the brain learns to function more efficiently. Neurofeedback addresses problems of brain dysregulation including; the anxiety-depression spectrum, attention deficits, behavior disorders, various sleep disorders, headaches and migraines, PMS and emotional disturbances, seizures, autism spectrum and cerebral palsy.
There are many excellent psychiatrists and psychiatry group practices in the area. PASS39 recommends having a conversation with your child's pediatrician or primary care provider for recommendation.
Wilmette Public School District provides a list of teachers who will work with families in a private tutor role. A list of these educators is available through the front office of each school building.
