Many PASHA members also choose to belong to Illinois Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ISHA). There is an opportunity for two PASHA members to serve as ISHA representives.
ISHA is a non-profit professional organization, founded in 1960, comprised of licensed professionals with advanced degrees in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology or Speech-Language-Hearing Science.
ISHA aims to:
1) Serve the public in all matters related to delays, disorders and difference off speech, language, hearing, feeding and swallowing.Â
2) Educate the public about hearing problems, speech and language delays, and swallowing and feeding disorders.
3) Advocate for the needs of individuals with speech, language or hearing disabilities at local, state and federal government levels.
