This is often performed in public events, particularly during fiestas and community gatherings in Pasay and other Filipino towns. In Pasay, this is no different, especially during barrio fiestas or after dinner, where elders tell kwento (stories) that could range from myths and legends to personal experiences, historical accounts, or moral tales. The stories often carry a lesson or cultural wisdom.
