Parvez Faruki, an accomplished researcher in security & privacy is has been instrumental in startup mentoring, and industry academia collaborations. Since 2021, he mentors S&P research and innovations at AiMZ Tech India, Telemedicine solutions. He has worked as Head of Department Information Technology Gujarat  India since March 01, 2005. He received M.Tech (QIP) in 2012 and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering in March 2016 under the supervision of Professor Manoj Singh Gaur, Director IIT Jammu &  Dr. Vijay Laxmi, Professor CSE, MNIT Jaipur India. In 2012, he was recipient of $ 10,000 Commonwealth fellowship grant for further research in Malware Analysis at University of Saskatchewan, Canada. In addition, he was the recipient of the Maulana Azad Ph.D. National Fellowship in 2013. He was a part of the research team for a joint DST-RFBR project with the South-Russian Educational and Research Center for IT-Security at Southern Federal University, Russia. He has been the recipient of junior research fellowship at Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique (LaBRI) Bordeaux, France in 2015 and 2018 respectively. He is recipient of a number of awards and accolades in the domain of Security & Privacy.
