He has been the co-investigator of "SAFAL: Security Analysis Framework for Android pLatform", worth INR 5.5 million, awarded by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, 2015-2019. His research contributions encompass Mobile Security, Malware Analysis, Security of Software Defined Networks, Adversarial learning, IoT Security and Privacy, and Cloud Computing De-duplication Security. 

Published 20+ conference papers and 20+ articles articles in top international peer-reviewed journals at venues like IEEE COMST, IEEE TRUSTCOM, IEEE SECURECOMM, IEEE CCNC, IEEE DSN, and ACM SINCONF). Currently he is serving the SINCONF 2023 in capacity of The Program Chair which will be organized at Manipal University Jaipur. He served as the General Co-Chair SINCONF 2017, Program Co-Chair of ISEA-ISAP 2019, Program Chair of the ASCIS-2022. He has been the organizing co-chair of SIN 2017, SIN 2015, and SIN 2013. Parvez is currently contributing as Special assignments editor of Springer NATURE journal, Editor of the Springer ASCIS-2022 and ISEA-ISAP 2019. 

He is actively involved in the organizing committees of International & National Level Faculty Development Programs. He contributed as TPC Chair of IEEE SINCONF 2023, Springer ASCIS 2022 Volume-1-II, and Security & Privacy 2019. He is currently the special editor of SN Computer Science Springer and serving the Conferneces IC3 2017, 2018, 2019, Smart World 2017, ICCAI 2017, as TPC.
