The old Wobbly saying is true for basic human rights as well: a home, food, clothing, healthcare, education, economic justice, public safety, and action on climate change, expanding democracy, fixing our foreign policy, and strengthening social equality through equity.
Fiscal responsibility and economic freedom for us in Aurora and everyone in Colorado means keeping more in our wallets and clawing back what precious funds have been taken from us by institutional criminals. Transparency, honesty, and generosity means shining a light on the flouting of open meetings laws to allow for backroom wheeling and dealing above and the silencing of the public interest.
Brie can proudly say that she's alive because of public schools. We cannot continue playing the shell game of the well-connected: fund our schools.
