The First Amendment

Until I started our run for office

I was in charge of the team fundraising across the state for our local broadcasts, most of all: Rocky Mountain PBS.

Brienna Parsons has been on the front lines of resiostance. And even with a clear badge and camera, the violence is always the same. The freedom of the press is being curtailed at the same time that books are all but being burned, schools are literally being shut down, and corrupt capitalist deals are happening behind closed doors like never before. The only thing that stops what happens in the shadows is the brilliance of sunlight. We will raise that Red Sun into the Sky.

Transparency

Brienna Parsons is dedicated to putting the trans into transparency. If we don't protect history's first draft, we cannot protect history itself, and as a trans person, Brienna knows that the shadows, denigrated, are where they place those they wish to erase.

Local News

Journalism doesn't spring from the ground because it rained. We must plant the seeds and ensure that they are in fertile soil with more recognition, grants, funding, and programs that include students, the elderly, and the community in general.

Protest

Brie will meet you out there and has (hey!). From protesting a particular representative at a phone bank to their office. Or out in the snow outside the Aurora ICE Detention Facility. Brie has got your back from the front. Let's come together for a general strike to end conflict, take the power back, and protect the working class in this class war waged by the oligarchs and billionaires.

First Amendment Committee Hearings

Brienna Parsons will personally make sure that every voice is heard and will ask to be personally held accountable for every voice we cannot get to the table. Communists will always protect your free speech and our democracy, and I will personally prove it!
