Our opponents take corporate donor money. We don't. So please support our ground game with a donation.
We will partner with companies to create more community and municipal social housing options for their workers. Or Brienna Parsons will fight in coalition to tear those companies to shreds to hand those shreds to their workers as we replace that business whole cloth.
Brie will press the state to sue corporations with any unhoused workers. We will make that a regular fine that funds housing. The fine will be large enough to fund housing for a full family of five for a full year with generous amenities. Corporations must step up, get taxed, or be reclaimed by the state of Colorado.
If those at the top and the large corporations stealing from us paid their fair share we wouldn't have a single person unhoused unless they were in deep need of resources, assistance, and community.
We support each other. As your representative I will be empowering unions and helping workers show fellow workers what we can achieve together when we try.
When I was with UFCW 7, the only thing that would have stopped me from being unhoused was a coworker and a market where they felt secure extending a hand. Affordability is still a chief issue, but we can win more in our paychecks with a union.
BTW a general strike is coming.
Students too often work as well as study. Tuition freezes or a student stipend would adjust this issue in the favor of both workers and students.
Additionally, we know that College For All approaches actually help our underpaid university staff as well!
Keeping our students and university workers housed means changing the status quo on college, work, and especially housing.
What is anticipated to be completed within the first term (2 years) and therefore will be most highly focused on will be highlighted with a hammer and sickle ☭.
