    전북대학교 패턴 인식 및 합성 연구실은 다양한 이미지, 동영상 데이터를 기반으로, 데이터 내 패턴을 인식하여 활용하거나 인식한 패턴을 바탕으로 또 다른 데이터를 합성해내는 연구를 주제로 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 사람 자세 추정, 동작 인식, 상황분석 등의 사람을 이해하는 분야와 다양한 모달리티의 조건에 맞추어 사실적인 이미지나 데이터를 생성해 내는 연구들을 수행합니다. 이런 인식과 생성이 서로 영향을 주며 다양한 연구로 발전할 수 있고, 이는 다양한 분야에서 활용될 수 있는 기반 기술입니다.

    JBNU Pattern Recognition and Synthesis Laboratory (PARS Lab.) conducts research on identifying meaningful patterns from various image and video data, and synthesizing new data based on the recognized patterns. Our work focuses on understanding human-related information such as pose estimation, action recognition, and situational analysis. In addition, we generate realistic images and videos conditioned on diverse modalities to advance human-centric synthesis technologies. Also, a sort of generative method can produce generated data to a recognition model to enhance its accuracy and stability.
