Park Village PTA

Hello Park Village Penguins, and welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are excited to welcome you into an incredible community with enriching events and programs for you and your children. As part of our community of parents, we look forward to working with and empowering you as we collaborate together with our teachers, staff and students. 

Since 1994, the PTA has had an active presence at Park Village Elementary.  It's a membership-based organization at the local, regional, state, and national levels. The California State PTA is the oldest and largest statewide volunteer organization working on behalf of children, youth, and families. Unit, council, and district PTAs serve more than 750,000 members.

The purpose of the PTA is to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community; to raise the standards of home life; to advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth; to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth; to engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth; and to advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

As the saying goes, it really takes a village to raise a child - in our case, many children get to be raised by our Park Village community! Your involvement is needed and greatly appreciated, and it starts with joining the PTA! If you're interested, please join the PTA at the following link here.
