Vicky McGhee – Programme Lead. Before joining the Council in April this year I was employed by a local charity working for social and economic regeneration in North Halifax. I’m passionate about social justice and citizen power. For me the Inclusive Economy Programme is about recognising that the power to change communities comes from the inside out, and the passion, ideas and desires of local people are our greatest resource.

Asif Hussain – Programme Coordinator. In previous roles my work has been about delivering employment and careers advice and I was the lead in coordinating recreational services for the BAME community, targeting the hard to reach. In my role for the Inclusive economy team I lead on engagement and relationship building, listening to the issues and themes that people feel strongly about so we can develop projects and initiatives to shape the future of this ward. Ultimately we are here to facilitate your thoughts and views into something tangible.

Henry Hopper – Business Start Up Manager. My current role with the council is to support people, helping them to develop ideas and business plans for start-up businesses. Prior to working for the council I worked as a Business Development Manager for the Prince’s Trust developing new fundraising and commercial opportunities to link with private sector businesses to support the development of new programmes and opportunities for young people to live, learn and earn.
