Opening the Church Wednesdays
from 2pm - 5pm
With the help of our parishioners we are starting from this week to open the church on Wednesday afternoons for prayer or for anyone who wants to come, have a look and ask questions about our church and Orthodoxy.

At the London Cathedral, the Sunday Divine Liturgy was Concelebtated by Seven Hirerchs at the Conclusion of the Paschal Session of the Holy Synod of Bishops.

VISIT OF HIRARCHS TO OUR CHURCH

METROPOLITAN NICHOLAS
On Tuesday 13th May 2025 at 3 pm our Vladyka, Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe, will visit our parish together with Metropolitan Nicholas, First Hirarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, and will bring the ancient and wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God to our Church for a Moleben (at 3pm). We will then process to our new Church which is being made available to us for the day. We will walk home for tea in the garden. All this is indeed very great priviledge for us. Please come! The Grand Duchess Elizabeth Romanov Society is organising a memorial day for the Romanov martyrs on the 16th July, 2023. It is to be located at the grounds of St. Benedict House, 81 Pevensey Rd, St Leonards on Sea, TN38 0LR. Please see the full timetable of the event here
11.10.23 Report of the Parish Pilgrimage to St Albans Cathedral and Knebworth House. 30th September 2023

A pilgrimage to honour St Alban the first martyr of England and venerate his relics in one of the great English Cathedrals, and after lunch to visit Knebworth House, once the home of the Grand Duke Michael (Tsar Nicholas’ brother). There will be a bus from the Church at 8 am, with a return by 6 pm. It is a 22 seater bus. The cost is £50, and includes bus and house entrance. Please buy or bring your own food and drink. This will, I hope, be a happy and holy day. Please support us.
Father Alexander lead the group of our parishioners to a pilgrimage to the Isle of Wight to serve a prayers service (moleben) to the Royal Martyrs of Russia and Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth in front of the Romanov Monument which was erected in East Cowes five years ago to mark 100th Anniversary of their martyrdom.
