Welcome!  I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I also have a secondary appointment (with courtesy) at the Wharton Real Estate Department. I am currently the Robert J. Aresty, W’63 Faculty Scholar.

I was previously an Assistant Professor of Finance at Columbia Business School. I received my PhD in finance from M.I.T. and B.A. in economics-mathematics from Columbia University. 

I research household finance, financial intermediation, real estate, and climate finance.
