Tim Burton

Tim Burton is a well-known American film director, producer, writer and artist. He is known for making Beetlejuice, Nightmare before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands and more. Tim Burton does state that he is on the autism spectrum. His wife also states that him being on the spectrum makes him special. He is super dedicated to making his visions come to life.

Dan Aykroyd

Dan Aykroyd is a famous comedian, producer, musician and writer. He has played in Ghostbusters, Coneheads, 50 First Dates and more. When he was young, he had gotten expelled from two schools before a doctor has diagnosed him with Asperger’s Syndrome. He has no hesitation to speak about him being on the spectrum. Aykroyd even spoken about how autism has contributed to his character he played on Ghostbusters.

Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle is a Scottish singer. She found her fame when she went on Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009. Boyle was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome back in December 2013. Asperger’s Syndrome is a high functioning form of autism. She has always been open about her diagnosis and even says that it has even given her a sense of relief.

Hannah has stated that she got diagnosed with autism as a child. She hid her diagnosis from movie executives because she didn’t want it to impact her career. Now that she is older she is a huge activist in helping anyone on the spectrum.

Jerry Seinfeld is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He is well known by making up the sitcom Seinfeld. He has been open about his diagnosis of autism in varies interviews. Seinfeld does state that he has had some challenges with ASD but he is continuing to overcome them.

Satoshi Tajiri is a Japanese video game designer. He is best known for being the creator of Nintendo’s Pokemon franchise. As a child he has always fascinated with insects, but as an adult he turned his interests into Pokemon. Tajiri has high functioning autism which he has confirmed. He doesn’t publicly talk about his diagnosis; he just says that his accomplishments should speak for themselves.

Heather Kuzmich is a fashion model. She made her debut on Americas Next Top Model back in 2009. She was the fourth runner up on the show that season. Kuzmich was diagnosed with autism when she was 15 years old. She does say that she has always struggled with communication so it is hard for her to approach people.

Temple Grandin is a scientist and animal behaviorist. She does focus on humane treatment of livestock for slaughter. She has written over 60 scientific papers on animal behaviors. Grandin was diagnosed with autism back in 1950. She is a prominent speaker for the autism community.

Armani Williams is the very first NASCAR driver to be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. When he was a younger child, he was diagnosed with autism and didn’t start talking until he was 3 years old. Williams does say that he does have challenges with communication and social interactions.
