Amanda completed her undergraduate and Master's degree at the University of Toronto in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She then completed her PhD and post-doc at the University of Minnesota in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. She had both of her children while at the University of Minnesota. She lives in Minneapolis with her family where she currently works at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. 

Tess completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria, and then went on to do a masters degree at the University of British Columbia, a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto, and a postdoc at Princeton University. She is currently finishing up a postdoc at the University of British Columbia, and she lives with her partner and two children in Vancouver. She will be starting as an Assistant Professor at the University of Guelph in September 2023.
