Hi, I am Paramita Maiti. I have completed my PhD in experimental condensed matter physics from the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar. 

Currently, I am working as a Technical Superintendent at the department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering (MSME) at IIT Hyderabad.

I grew up in Kukrahati, a village by the Hooghly River, in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal. I specialized in the fields of condensed matter, material science, surface science, thin films, and nanostructures. I have three and a half years of postdoctoral experience. I am a lifetime member of the Electron Microscopy Society of India (EMSI). Before joining IITH, I was a Senior Scientific Officer under the INUP I2I project at IIT Kharagpur.
