Mandatory and Optional Inservice Opportunities
Mandatory Inservice Days
The following inservice days are required for paraeducators
August 5th: All Staff Convocation (7 hours)
August 11th: Mandatory Inservice Day (7 hours)
April 3rd: Optional 1/2 Day Inservice (4 hours)
Paras, CCMs, BTs and RBTs are invited but not required to attend unless Inservice hours are needed
Optional Inservice Opportunities
The following inservice days are optional for paraeducators:
CPI Training (8 hours)
Must be referred by the principal
Classroom teacher-guided/site-level training (Hours vary)
Teacher must provide a sign-in sheet
This PD Flyer outlines "optional" Inservice opportunities, that are being offered to paraeducators on District Early Release days. Please refer to it to stay informed about these upcoming dates throughout the school year.
*These inservice opportunities are optional but we HIGHLY recommend you attend them if you have NOT met your mandatory required inservice hours for the year!
