By downloading, installing, or using PantryPal (“App”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PantryPal for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control.
Your use of the App is also subject to the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play Store terms.
PantryPal is a personal food inventory management application designed to help users:
Track pantry items and expiry dates
Scan grocery receipts using OCR technology
Receive local expiry reminders
The App is intended for personal household use only and is not designed for commercial inventory management.
By using PantryPal, you agree to:
Use the App lawfully and responsibly
Review and verify scanned receipt data for accuracy
Avoid attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or disrupt the App
You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your pantry information.
PantryPal uses on-device OCR technology to scan receipts. Due to variations in receipt formatting, print quality, and OCR limitations:
Scanned results may occasionally contain errors
Auto-populated pantry information may require manual correction
We do not guarantee complete accuracy of scanned data.
PantryPal is intended as an organizational tool only.
Expiry reminders and scanned information should not be relied upon as the sole basis for food safety decisions. Always use your own judgment when determining whether food is safe to consume.
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not guarantee that:
The App will operate without interruption or errors
Notifications will always be delivered on time
Receipt scanning will be fully accurate
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all warranties are disclaimed.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PantryPal and its developers shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential damages
Data loss
Food spoilage or food waste
Foodborne illness
Missed notifications
OCR inaccuracies
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App, if any.
All App content, branding, design elements, source code, and related intellectual property are owned by PantryPal or its licensors and are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in your country or region of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be indicated by the revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
