The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) is a student-led environmental organization that promotes environmental awareness, sustainability, and active participation in environmental protection within and beyond the school community of Pangasinan National High School (PNHS).
YES-O serves as the primary organization responsible for initiating and implementing environmental programs, projects, and campaigns that encourage students to become responsible stewards of nature. The organization works closely with the school administration and other student organizations to integrate environmental responsibility into various school activities and initiatives.
The organization plays a vital role in leading environmental efforts both inside and outside the school, including tree-growing activities, waste management campaigns, clean-up drives, environmental education programs, and community-based environmental initiatives. Through these activities, YES-O extends its advocacy to nearby communities and contributes to broader environmental protection efforts.
Guided by its mission to empower the youth as advocates of environmental sustainability, YES-O continues to inspire students to take meaningful action in addressing environmental issues, promoting environmental responsibility, and helping build a greener and more sustainable future for both the school and the community.
