I am deeply interested in the application of statistical mechanics to different areas of physics (particularly condensed matter) and its interface with other disciplines such as biology.
During my Ph.D. I studied the dynamics and thermodynamics of spin ice and related systems. In my first postdoc, I focused on disordered magnetic systems and the domain walls that inhabit them. For my second postdoc I changed topics a bit more, moving on to studying biological systems with statistical mechanics tools.
