Kassidy Avila
Co-Founder & Project and Media Team
Hi! I'm Kassidy, a senior at Sequoia High School and am an active member of ASB, where I work to strengthen student engagement and build community. I am currently interning for attorney Roscoe Elliot to better understand policy, law, and economic disparities. I helped co-found PAYPHC because I believe youth has a powerful role in advancing health equity and making fact-based oublic health education acessible to all.
Ali Bollyky
Co-Founder & Outreach Team
Hi! I’m Ali, a senior at Castilleja and lead of the Pediatric Care Connect Club, where I explore how pediatric medical crises affect families and how policy can support them. I’m spent the summer interning at Stanford’s Moding Lab through the SIMR program at Stanford University, exploring the role of calcium signaling in modulating the radiosensitivity of soft-tissue sarcomas. I’m excited to bring my passion for healthcare access, research, youth advocacy, and family-centered care to PAYPHC!
Sierra Verma
Co-Founder & Research Team
Hi! My name is Sierra, and I am a Senior at Castilleja. Alongside Ali, I also lead the Pediatric Care Connect club, focused on giving back to families facing medical crises and educating the community about health disparities. Over the past three months, I have been researching AI's role in medicine and medical imaging, and the advantages and disadvantages of it, to understand better how the medical field will change. I'm excited to spread awareness about public health issues and get the youth's input and opinion on issues that affect them!
Kate Dutton

Hi I’m Kate, a senior at Sequoia High School and am involved in ASB along with participating in the Student Advisory Council for the my school district. I am currently working on an independent research paper mentored by a resident physician, exploring the efficacy and economic impact of continuous glucose monitors for Type 1 diabetics. I am so thrilled to be involved in PAYPHC as I believe public health understanding is extremely important—especially for youth. I look forward to bridging my interests between medical fields and business with the team at PAYPHC, sharing accurate information with the people in my community!

Aria Feitelberg
Research Team
Hi! I’m Aria, a senior at Castilleja and am the founder of the BioMed Innovators Club and lead the Jewish Student Association and Changing pACE. I am very interested and involved in biochemical research, as well as expanding health equity and working towards expanding healthcare access. Recently, I researched and redesigned a cystic fibrosis treatment focusing on the pancreatic degradation, that incorporated nanostructured lipid carriers for more effective drug targeting, limiting liver toxicity and drug costs. I’m excited to help spread awareness for public health issues in our community and collaborate with other passionate students to promote health equity!
