PALMS PHYSIOTHERAPY & ALLIED HEALTH
At Palms Physiotherapy & Allied Health (Malaga), our Forever Fit Classes are designed to help you stay strong, steady and confident with movement—no matter your age or starting point.
These are supportive, low-pressure group classes that focus on strength, balance, mobility and functional fitness, with options to suit different abilities and comfort levels. Whether you’re returning to exercise after a break, managing aches and pains, or simply wanting to move more consistently, Forever Fit is a practical way to build and maintain everyday capacity.
✅ Mandatory requirement: All participants must complete an initial individual assessment before joining the group program. This ensures your exercises are safe, appropriate, and tailored to your goals and presentation.
Forever Fit is a guided group exercise class focusing on the key areas that support long-term function:
strength (especially legs and core for everyday tasks)
balance and stability (confidence on your feet, reduced falls risk)
mobility and flexibility (moving more freely and comfortably)
endurance (building tolerance for walking and daily activities)
functional movement (sit-to-stand, step-ups, reaching, turning—where appropriate)
We keep sessions clear, structured and achievable, with modifications offered so you can work at a level that feels safe and sustainable.
Forever Fit is ideal for:
adults who want to maintain strength and mobility as they age
people who feel less steady or confident with walking and balance
those wanting to improve general fitness without a high-intensity gym environment
people returning to exercise after injury, illness, or reduced activity
anyone wanting a friendly, consistent class routine for accountability
If you have a complex medical history, significant pain, or recent surgery, we recommend contacting us first so we can guide you to the safest starting option.
A typical Forever Fit session includes:
warm-up (joint mobility and gentle activation)
strength work (lower limb, trunk, and upper body options)
balance and stability training (graded to your confidence level)
functional fitness (movements that translate to daily life)
cool-down (mobility and breathing/relaxation)
You’ll be encouraged to work within your own limits, and our team can modify exercises based on pain, fatigue, mobility aids, or confidence.
Palms Physiotherapy & Allied Health offers a range of therapy services and specialised supports. You can browse by therapy area, explore specialised services, or learn more about the facilities and equipment we use in-clinic .
You don’t need to be “fit” to start. You just need a starting point.
We focus on movements that help you in real life—getting up and down, walking steadily, lifting, carrying, and moving safely.
We offer progressions and modifications so you can participate safely—even if you have pain, stiffness, balance concerns, or lower confidence.
Forever Fit is delivered in a clinic environment designed to support rehabilitation and safe movement.
We support children, adults and older adults with disability, injury, chronic conditions, developmental concerns, communication needs, mobility challenges and rehabilitation goals.
Some people attend Forever Fit as their main weekly exercise routine. Others use it as a stepping stone toward:
stronger fitness goals
rehab gym programs
Pilates-based strengthening
individual physiotherapy or exercise physiology sessions
If you’re not sure what the best path is, we can help.

Do I need to be fit to join?
No. Forever Fit is designed for people who want a supportive entry point to build strength, balance and fitness safely.
Is this class suitable if I have aches and pains?
Often yes. We can modify exercises to reduce irritation and build capacity gradually. If pain is significant or worsening, we recommend a physiotherapy consult first.
What if I have balance issues or use a walking aid?
Many exercises can be adapted. Contact us so we can confirm suitability and the safest options for you.
Is Forever Fit the same as Pilates?
It can include some Pilates-style strengthening elements, but Forever Fit is broader—focused on strength, balance, mobility and functional fitness.
Can I do Forever Fit if I’m doing physiotherapy?
Often yes. Many clients use Forever Fit alongside physiotherapy or exercise physiology for consistency and progression. Your clinician can guide you on the best approach.
How often should I attend?
This depends on your goals and tolerance. Many people start with once weekly and progress from there.
As these sessions are ran by qualified allied health professionals, if you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a health fund rebate, leaving little - if any - out of pocket cost. You can either purchase each session individually, or purchase passes which reduce the cost per session.
1 x Pass $18 ($18/session)
5 x Pass - $82.50 ($16.50/session)
10 x Pass - $150 ($15/session)
20 x Pass - $270 ($13.50/session)
If you’re unsure which facility, service, or technology is the right fit, our team can guide you based on your goals and presentation.
