My schnauzer adventure started early 1990 with the black standard schnauzer of our holiday neighbors. Zodiac joined us on many many walks and we nearly adopted him.
Understandable, when the moment was there to definite join our family, his owners couldn't give him up.
In 1997 we welcomed our own schnauzer: Maxandr (Maxandr Elvi's Gelios)
He was our first dog, our first schnauzer and thought us everything... the good and the bad... Maxandr was absolutely part of our family. He joined us every where: on holidays, restaurant, ...
And just for fun we entered him to a dogshow organised by our obedience dog school in Antwerp. This was our first dogshow and many more would come...
In 2007 our family grew again, this time with a female Gemma (Ave Concorde Love Story Aranel)
2012 was a special year...
We lost our Gemma after a short but severe illness. A few months later at the age of nearly 16 years we also had to say goodbye to Maxandr.
At the same time I moved out from my parental home and in with my partner.
However... we did not stay long without a schnauzer in the house!
Early 2013 my father and I flew to Marseille to pick-up a grand-son of Maxandr: Hektor (Honey dit Hector Aranal de l' Ecurie Puits d' Encastre)
And although Hektor lives with my parents, he stayed with us often: to go to dogshows, sleep over when my parents are traveling by motorbike, etc.
In 2015, the day after my partner and I moved from an appartment to our own house with garden, we welcomed our own new family member: Olien (Ave Concorder Harita).
Over the years our family also grew with 2 2-legged family members 🥰 who love our schnauzers as much as their mother does!
In 2021 a dream came true and our first giant schnauzer pepper and salt arrived: Zeus (Gloris Zeus Zappa)
Throughout the past decades our schnauzers always lived as true family members.
They are FIRST OF ALL part of our family!
And in our free time, besides walking, swimming, going on holiday, etc... we also like to participate at dogshows.
