The Paliparan III Salimbanoy Dance Troupe stole the show at the Cultural Dance Competition, securing the championship title with their breathtaking performance and impeccable preparations.

VIBRANT PARADE KICKS OFF CULTURAL CELEBRATION

In Paliparan III Dasmariñas City, August 24 2024 - The scorching heat didn't dampen the spirits of participants in yesterday's vibrant parade, which marked the beginning of the cultural celebration.

SMILING THROUGH THE HEAT

Dancers from Paliparan 3 Senior High School's Salimbanoy Performing Arts and representatives from various schools, groups, and organizations beamed with joy as they marched from Phase 1 to Mabuhay City Covered Court.

Despite the sweltering weather, the enthusiasm and energy of the performers were palpable, setting the tone for a memorable celebration. 

CLASS SUSPENSION

Class suspensions  were announced in Dasmariñas for October 24, 2024, due to severe weather brought by Tropical Storm Kristine. The City Government prioritized students' and faculty members' safety, declaring a suspension for all levels in public and private schools.

Private institutions have the autonomy to conduct modular distance learning, ensuring education continuity amidst disasters and health emergencies. This provision helps them adapt and respond while maintaining academic standards.

2024 NATIONAL READING MONTH

National Reading Month Celebrations Underway

The Communication Arts department is joining forces with the nationwide celebration of the 2024 National Reading Month, also known as Pambansang Araw at Buwan ng Pagbasa, as mandated by R.A. 10556. This month-long festivities coincide with the 90th National Book Week Celebration spearheaded by the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.

The department recognizes the importance of reading comprehension in facilitating effective communication among individuals.
