Our Mission

The Newburgh Ministry is a homeless shelter in the City of Newburgh, New York, that originated from a group of 5 catholic sisters who wanted to connect people to the support they needed in an impoverished area. They have since touched numerous lives of the residents of the City of Newburgh and continue to thrive as a shelter with the mission of ensuring people's basic needs are met and are able to lead a safe, productive life. 

Our team at Paddles for Battles quickly recognized the Ministry as a vital partner in executing our mission of supporting our community. Their dedication to providing resources and assistance to those in need aligns perfectly with our goal of making a meaningful impact. By donating to the Ministry, we ensure that our efforts extend beyond the pickleball court, directly aiding individuals and families who require support the most. Together, we are strengthening our community, one paddle at a time.
