This past August, our team hosted a charity pickleball tournament with only two goals: helping to unite our community, while also helping give back to our community. We started with the simple goal of wanting to bring friends and family together for some fun tournament play, but we saw the opportunity in our idea and immediately capitalized. We ended up seeing participation from over 16 teams and raised over $500 for our beneficiary, The Newburgh Ministry.

This Spring, on May 18th, we plan to hold another event to fundraise for the Newburgh Ministry, but with much more! We look to host vendors and small businesses in the area, as well as live performers in Delano Hitch Park on the renovated basketball courts. We hope to top our success from last year, engaging more members of our community and helping the Newburgh Ministry do even more for our area. (Rain Date May 25th)
