Camp Guidelines and Expectations
1. The possession/use of controlled substances or weapons is strictly prohibited.
Theft, fighting, or violence of any kind will not be tolerated. A zero-tolerance policy
will be enforced regarding these issues.
2. Each church group should have a plan in place for transporting a student in the
event of expulsion due to activities of a problematic nature.
3. No personal electronics are to be used during chapel services. Students who choose
to bring cell phones or other personal electronic devices do so at their own risk. The
camp staff is not responsible for items lost or stolen. It is highly suggested that all electronics are left at home. There is a camp phone that can be used as well as leaders cell phones.Â
4. Costs of any damage to campground facilities through malicious or irresponsible
behavior will be returned to the local church and it will be the responsibility of the
local church to collect from individuals responsible for damage.
5. Campers must follow instructions of counselors and leaders at all times.
6. Campers are not to leave campgrounds at any time during camp for any reason.
7. All cabins must be kept clean and free of trash at all times. Cabins and campgrounds
will be cleaned prior to departure.
8. All campers are required to attend all chapel services and group activities.
9. All campers will help with assigned kitchen duty and chore assignments during
camp.
10. Please use discretion in clothing choices. Please refrain from immodest or offensive
clothing choices. No bare midriffs, strapless shirts, very short shorts, or
gang-affiliated clothing is permitted. Church leaders please monitor and correct
behavior when needed.
11. All medications must be handled by a church or camp leader. Please notify camp
staff of medical conditions or severe allergies prior to registration.
Guidelines are not all-inclusive, but do provide an overview of the expectations we will
have for each student and leader at camp. The rules and guidelines of home churches
should be followed at all times. It is the responsibility of each leader/church to review
these expectations with each participant. Detailed rules will be discussed on the first day of
camp.
