This year, Packing a Smile is partnering up with Childhood Cancer Canada and their EmPower Pack program. Aligning with our values, EmPower Packs aim to give children a reason to smile while navigating a cancer diagnosis. Packing a Smile will be contributing age-personal items to these packages that will be sent throughout Canada.

Within their community, partnering with @kwspeedskates and community schools, more than 200 toys were collected for Packing a Smile by Tubie Tough and Jordy Casey! We are beyond grateful for the support of our incredible community of childhood warriors AND their ambition to give back to others who face big battles in the hospital

In the month of May, Rhythm Dance Studio's mini competitive team took part in The Smile Project by conducting a toy drive in the studio. The Mini team be kick-started this initiative by placing a donation bin in the studio for any NEW toys, books, games and stutted animals. Packing a Smile was super excited to be partnering on this project and cannot wait to educate these young minds on ways to give back to their community!

Packing a Smile was contacted this year by 2 students from Bialik Hebrew Day School in hopes to do their Project Give Back Presentation on Packing a Smile. With ambission and drive to learn about philanthropy, these two young minds jumped right in to learning about ways to give back and Packing a Smile's mission and vision. Packing a Smile has been working super hard to give Hendrix the biggest smile while he navigates his Leukaemia and Type 1 Diabetes journey. For a year since I met Hendrix, he’s continually talked about the Leafs game with @thefordfanatic_official and @fordcanada 🩵 As he continues to challenge his diagnosis, Packing a Smile was able to get a signed Max Domi jersey. With both Hendrix and Max being unstoppable TD1 warriors, this donation was sure to Pack a Smile!! A huge thank you to Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, Nicole Finelli and Brian Brown for helping to make this possible.
