Step 1 - Sign up and register for CUB SCOUTS below

Whether you are an Oakland Charter School Eagle, a Tildenville Tiger, or an elementary student anywhere else (including home schooled!), as long as your child is ages 5 and up and in grades K-5 and  they want to join PACK 978 in Oakland, Florida, click below. This is step one. 

Step 2 - Submit PACK dues payable to Pack 978

For the 2025-2026 program year, dues are $100 payable to Pack 978.  

We take all payments electronically by PayPal.

This covers many costs the pack incurs including supplies, leader fees, some food and facility rental costs. 

We also cover the Scout's neckerchief and slide (at the end of the year once they complete rank), a pack t-shirt, one each Raingutter Regatta boat and Pinewood Derby car and ALL rank and Adventure patches and belt loops earned throughout the year.

Additional costs paid by families include the Scout field uniform (required shirt, optional shorts and hat) and events such as camping and some special events. See homepage or here for more on the Scout uniform.

Fundraising (POPCORN!) is always available to help cover many of these costs.

Step 3 - Email us letting us know you've joined the pack!
