ABOUT
District: Boone Trails
Council: Greater St. Louis Area Council
Charter Organization: Hawthorn Elementary PTO
We offer a family friendly program for boys and girls ages Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. We proudly serve the St. Peters' community and are members of the Boone Trails' district of the Greater St. Louis Area Council of Boy Scouts of America.
Our program emphasizes leadership, community service, family understanding, character development, citizenship training, nature, and personal fitness. Our scouts learn a variety of resourceful skills ranging from knot tying to basic camp culinary skills. Our camping adventures often introduce scouts to new activities such as archery and shooting. With every activity or skill they learn they are rewarded with achievements such as a pin or a patch.
Our program is year round with monthly den and pack meetings. We also meet monthly for pack outings such as: spring, summer, and fall campouts, pack hikes, fishing events, Scouting for Food, Street Clean events, Pinewood Derby, Memorial Day Good Turn, Raingutter Regatta, Blue and Gold Banquet, Pack fundraisers (car wash and popcorn sales), and graduation. Additionally, dens may meet to attend tours such as the police or fire stations.
We are chartered by the Hawthorn Elementary PTO in St. Peters, Missouri. If you have a girl or boy interested in Cub Scouts, please contact us at Info@Pack961.net for more information.
