Adult Training Opportunities

Did you know Scouting America offers a wide range of opportunities for adults to grow and have fun?

Hello fellow Scouters and Parents,

From basic camping skills in courses like BALOO/IOLS, through intermediate to advanced HAT Backpacking and Map and Compass Navigation courses, to advanced leadership trainings like Wood Badge. There are adult programs for all interests and abilities.

You can check programs for the whole family, kids and teens only, or adults only. Visit the Orange County Council Scouting Event webpage for more information about dates, times, and cost.

Some courses are offered annually, and you must complete prerequisites or prior training to register. You can find all the information you need on the course registration page or by contacting the Course Coordinator.

If you do not find a course you are interested in, try the Scounting Event Global Calendar. This contains all registered Scouting Events offered in the United States. Take a look using the Scouting Event Index Map.
