All adults (including guests) MUST complete Safeguarding Youth training. Training is valid for 1 years.
All youth (including guests) MUST have valid Medical Forms. Valid for 1 year.
Absolutely no alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs are allowed.
All youth are prohibited from entering anyone else's tent.
Youth are not to wander alone. Follow the Buddy System at all times.
All camping events will be ran in accordance to the Guide to Safe Scouting guidelines
Lions and Tigers MUST be accompanied by a parent at ALL times.
Wolves and Bears MUST have a parent present at the campout but can attend activities without the parents as long as two-deep leadership is followed.
Webelos and AOLs may camp without a parent as long as a registered adult leader agrees to supervise them.
ALL PARENTS are expected to with help with prep, cook, serving, or clean-up during at least ONE meal. Signup sheets are created using SignUpGenius so adults can make specific requests.
Unless otherwise noted, per person fee pays for Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast. Families should make arrangements for meals on Friday afternoon/evening while arriving at Camp.
Campers MUST bring their own mess kits (plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc). The use of a mess kit bag is recommended.
Kitchen Master(s) - This adult is in charge of overseeing all meals and delegating tasks to the parents assigned to assist during meals. This individual should have full knowledge of entire grocery inventory list, meal plans, and all cooking supplies.
Hydration Ranger(s) - Ensure that the drinking water coolers (including bug juice) remain full during the duration of the campout so that all participants can remain properly hydrated. Also ensure there is sufficient water for cooking and cleaning use.
Fire Chief(s) - Ensure all fuel sources (propane tanks, kerosene lamps, etc) are kept in a safe and secure location following the proper safety guidelines. Ensures fire extinguishers are in proper working order and available at required locations (kitchen, fuel yard, campfire, etc). Ensures campfires are properly extinguished.
Safety Chief(s) - Oversee overall campsite safety not related to fire hazards. This includes a safe ax yard, reflective tape on all trip hazards, adult areas such as the kitchen clearly fenced off, etc.
Leave No Trace Champion(s) - Oversee overall cleanliness of the campsite and common areas. Ensures trash bags are always available and disposed of appropriately. Conduct and lead periodic sweeps of the campsite. Ensure any areas that are assigned to be cleaned by the camp master (bathrooms, play fields, facilities, etc) are cleaned appropriately.
Pack Medic(s) - This adult should have basic training in First Aid and CPR. Responsible for the pack’s First Aid equipment. Available at all times to administer First Aid when needed. Knowledge of BSA policies regarding medication use in Scouting. Should be aware of any scouts who carry emergency medications.
