Cub Scout Pack 500 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, citizenship, and physical fitness for youth in Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. Cub Scout Pack 500 is a mixed gender Cub Scout Pack based out of Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church at 35100 Solon Rd, Solon OH 44139.
In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as hiking, archery, fishing, and more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families. Scouting works to build future leaders and many of our scouts are active participants in sporting activities.
Cub Scout Den Meetings are held monthly based on members schedules and Pack calendar is published annually. Pack 500 is apart of Lake Erie Council (https://lecscouting.org/).

Cub Scouting is fun no matter what grade you are in!! Cub Scouting teaches scouts life long lessons and molds them into future leaders. Do you like to learn by doing? This is the place where you can learn how to shoot a bow and arrow or setup a tent on one of our two camping events.
Our scouts earn belt loops or pins by completing adventures during their den meetings.
As a Cub Scout, you will be part of your own Pack. The Pack is divided into smaller groups called Dens. All of the Cub Scouts in your Den are in the same grade and go to several area Elementary schools.
About Us
Cub Scout Pack 500 of Solon, OH includes boys and girls in Kindergarten (Lions) to 5th Grade (Arrow of lights). The Pack holds monthly Pack Meetings typically located at Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church from August through May. We hold several Pack events during the summer to keep our scouts engaged over the summer.
We are grateful to the Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church who provide our Pack with their facilities and support us as our Charter Organization.
Pack 500 is an all volunteer troop with an awesome group of leaders who help our scouts grow and learn.

Events
Events
Our pack consists of scouts and their families who attend our events and outings together. Besides our Pack and Den Meetings, we go on two annual camping trips at Lake Erie Scouting Reservations. We also perform multiple outdoor events throughout the year.
Scouts participate in age appropriate activities from parent run hikes in our younger dens to woodworking for our older youth. All our Scouts enjoy a variety of group activities under adult guidance such as Pinewood Derby! If you want to learn more, join us at our next outing.
