Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, kids grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts them in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life. It's a wonderful opportunity to participate in events for that the whole family can enjoy together!
We are welcoming boys and girls grades K-5. We meet on Thursdays @ 7PM at St. Bonaventure Catholic School cafeteria in Davie, Florida. If you have any questions please email us at pack383chair@gmail.com.

Cub Scouting Adventures
Cub Scouts earn adventures that are specific to their grade and rank. A number of adventures must be completed to earn the badge of rank for each grade level. Adventures may be earned in any order. Completion of adventures is how the aims of character, citizenship, leadership, and personal fitness are developed.
Family Scouting
Cub Scouts is a program for the entire family. It is against the rules to drop off your scout at any point in time. There must always be a parent with the scout. This ensures the safety of the scout. It also helps our program run smoothly. We encourage parent participation.
There are also lots of opportunities for siblings to get involved. Many of our activities are activities for the whole family. For example campouts. Siblings of scouts even get to enter a car in the Pinewood Derby.
100% Volunteers
Did you know that the Cub Scout program is run 100% by family volunteers? If it wasn’t for the amazing people who give their time to the program we wouldn’t have a program. In Cub Scouting, there are so many opportunities to volunteer. Remember not every volunteer in Cub Scouting wears a uniform. Everyone has different skills and ways they can contribute to making the Cub Scouting experience meaningful. No matter how you want to get involved your help is greatly appreciated.
Helping
Being helpful is part of the Scout Law, a value we seek to instill in everyone. The best way to help is not to wait until someone asks, but by providing assistance when you know someone needs it.
Leading
Being a leader means you are a registered volunteer that takes on a personal commitment to ensure that Scouting is being delivered in a safe manner, the way it was designed, and in a way that makes it meaningful to everyone involved.
Being a leader means you care about the Cub Scouting program beyond your current position. You want to see it strengthen and grow long after you and your Cub Scout have moved beyond the pack.
