In most cases each youth member will be under the supervision of a parent or guardian. In all cases, each youth participant is responsible to a specific adult.
Lions (K) and Tigers (1st) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all meetings and all events such as overnights, outings, hikes, etc.
If a Wolf (2nd), Bear (3rd), Webelo (4th) or AOL (5th) would like to attend an overnight without a parent, then (1) explicit prior agreement must be made with the activity leader, (2) there must be another parent who has agreed to be responsible of the Scout, and (3) the parent must sign and submit a Scouting Activities Consent Form.
No youth is permitted to sleep in a tent of an adult other than his or her own parent or guardian.
If a Wolf, Bear, Webelo or AOL attends an overnight without a parent, s/he may sleep by himself or herself in a tent or share a tent with a same-gender child no more than two years apart in age.
