Welcome to the Pack 1876 Family!  We are happy you decided to join us on this adventure.  It is the goal of Pack 1876 to create opportunities, events and activities that will enhance your scout's Cub Scout experience.  We know that our Scouting parents have many talents they are willing to share, but often don't have the chance to find out what those talents are.

The purpose of this "Family Talent Survey" is to provide our leadership the insight to what is available.  We would greatly appreciate you take just a few minutes to complete the form below and email it to pack1876springtx+talent@gmail.com to let us know how you might be able to help!  You can download the form and type in your responses.

Thank you!

The Boy Scouts of America places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, the BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders with resources for the Cub Scout, Scouts BSA and Venturing programs.

Cub Scout Camping Rules - Scouting Barriers to Abuse

Cub Scout parents or legal guardians taking part in an overnight Cub Scout program with their own child or legal ward are not required to register as leaders. All adults must review the “How to Protect your Children from Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide” that can be found in the front of each Cub Scout Handbook. In addition, the parent or legal guardian must be accompanied by a registered leader at any time they are with youth members other than their own child/ward.  All other overnight adults must be currently registered in an adult fee required position.

Parts A and B required for all Cub Scouts and family members (adults and children) attending a Scouting event. Valid for one year.

Our Pack utilizes Scoutbook to track advancement for each scout.  This account travels with the Scout, even if you move to a new town and join a different Pack!
