ABOUT US

Cub Scout Pack 1876 of Spring, TX has been chartered by Klein United Methodist Church in Spring since its inception in 1987. We are a part of the Boy Scouts of America, in the Sam Houston Area Council, Iron Horse District. Iron Horse District includes schools from the Spring and Klein School Districts. Our Pack recruits directly from French and Northampton Elementary schools, but also has members from many other schools around the area.

We are a very active Pack and we strive to earn the Journey to Excellence award each year. During each year, we have many different great adventures: camping in the great outdoors, racing Scout-built cars in our Pinewood Derby, racing against other Packs in the district Pushmobile, and much more. We also love having great food at our campouts and events, especially the Scout cake decorating contest!

We track advancements and awards using Scoutbook, a simple online tool that allows parents to track their Scout's completions as they move along the ranks of Cub Scouting. When a Scout joins the Pack, an invitation is sent for parents to connect to their Scoutbook profile. We regularly communicate with Pack families using the Scoutbook program, so it's important that you accept that invitation and complete your own profile to include your email address and cell phone number.
