Sponsored by Champaign West Rotary Club
We are Cub Scout Pack 119, based out of Robeson Elementary School in Champaign, Illinois. We welcome K-5 boys and girls from across our community that want to engage in in-person activities that are fun, hands-on, and build character.
Woodworking and other skills are practical and also build confidence, perseverance, and character.
We take advantage of the many opportunities C-U has to offer. We go climbing, skating, bowling and do other actives that are both fun and build strength.
Catch your first fish? See a racoon footprint? Pack 119 is family-oriented and gives you the opportunity for many memorable "firsts" with you child.
Optional but popular, we do at least one hike as a Pack every month and the miles earn knots on hiking sticks. And yes corn mazes count!
Scouts meet community leaders, athletes who have overcome adversity, and make a difference in their own communities.
Whether it's a fast Pinewood Derby car, or structural engineering, STEM pops up in many of our activities.
All packs follow the same BSA guidelines, but we tend to camp and hike a little more than typical. We place a very high value on family involvement and participation.
