Parent Information

Pack 107 is a very active pack, and we are all volunteers.  Our den leaders and committee members are very dedicated to creating amazing adventures and ensuring that yearly requirements are met.

Since Cub Scouts is a volunteer-run organization, parent involvement is a must. We hope all adult partners can support those efforts by assisting in at least one event per year. Here are some examples: Pinewood Derby setup, 4th of July parade, planting flowers during service projects, recruiting point-person, planning hikes, bringing campfire supplies to overnights, group games, setup and clean up at Pack meetings and events... just to name a few!  Please let us know if you can help in anyway! Any parents/guardians are welcome to attend our monthly Zoom committee meetings. We value the opinions and ideas of all members of our Pack!

In addition to volunteering at events, we also ask that all parents/guardians take Youth Protection Training online. This is very similar to the trainings required by local sports leagues. It only takes about an hour online, and helps ensure that every single adult is aware of the safety expectations throughout Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA. Once you complete your YPT, please forward a copy of your certificate to our Committee Chair and your child's den leader. You will receive your Pack 107 Class B red-shirt upon completion!

Popcorn Sales for Pack 107 Fundraising

Trails-End Popcorn is Pack 107’s annual fundraiser and helps support events, outings awards, pinewood derby, and much more.  There is no requirement to sell, but any sale/contribution goes a long way in keeping our pack thriving!  We have found that family and friends are very willing to help, especially when they are reminded that the majority of their donation goes to the scouts, and the popcorn is just a nice gift!

Scouts can sell popcorn individually, and they can also participate in "Show & Sells". If you are new to scouts you can set up a Trails-End account for your scout. Once you make an account you can get your personalized link to share, or use the app to make sales.

BSA Medical Forms
Participants in any Scouting events must complete Parts A and B annually. They contain a health history, a parental/guardian informed consent and hold harmless/release agreement and a talent release statement.

Participants in any Scouting event that exceeds 72 consecutive hours must have a medical exam to have Part C completed and signed. For most Cub Scouts, this would only be necessary if they are attending Cub Scout or Webelos Resident Camp, and if that camp is more than 72 hours.
