Uniforms
We encourage you to purchase your Scout's uniform as soon as possible. Uniforms are a big part of the Scouting program. They serve a dual purpose, demonstrating that a Scout is part of a team and showing individual achievement (Scouts wear the badges they’ve earned). Wearing the uniform to meetings and activities also encourages a neat appearance, and good behavior.
You can find what is needed for your Scout here. Please remember, we are a waist-up pack. You do not need to purchase official pants/shorts or socks.
A Scout is thrifty - you can find some of these items at a local thrift or consignment store, like Goodwill. You can also check Facebook marketplace or online garage sale sites. Your Scout will use the same blue shirt from Tigers to Bears (1st-3rd grades). Consider buying up a size so you can use the same shirt for three years. The tan shirt that is used for Webelos (4th and 5th grades) will move with your Scout into a troop, so think about that as you purchase a shirt.
New items are purchased from the Scout Shop. The staff at the Scout Shop is incredibly helpful and will be able to tell you the patches you need, and can even sew them on the shirts for you.

New Den Leaders: You need a shirt too! You can find information about what you need to purchase here. Remember, same as our Scouts, we are a waist up pack. Official pants, socks or belts are not required.
