P4PPP Introduced At The World Health Summit

The Platform for Planet Place and People (P4PPP) is a virtual hub of the components identified in the Commonwealth’s Systems Framework for Healthy Policy (SFHP) to build sustainable health systems that act as a common good for all.

On a panel discussion with Dr Margaret Chan, former DG for the WHO, InterAction Council strategic advisor and Director Health Systems for the Digital Platform for Planet Place and People, Dr Joanna Nurse outlined successful characteristics of national responses, from the COVID-19 Policy Framework with discussions emphasising the importance of transparent governance and communications. Key recommendations on future action to prevent Pandemics were highlighted, including strengthening Leadership, Multilateral Responses, investing in a Green Recovery and scaling up Public Health Systems through Digital Transformation - with an initial pre-view of the Platform for Planet Place and People (P4PPP).
