What is PLANET, PLACE & PEOPLE
The Commonwealth Centre for Digital Health in collaboration with partners has established a digital Platform for Planet, Place and People (P4PPP). The Platform aims to create an accessible Digital Hub for Universal Health Services for the People and Planet – including climate change and environmental challenges, by applying a flexible multi-sector systems approach within different Places as part of a global common good.
The Platform contributes to the digital transformation required to respond at speed and scale to Pandemics, Disasters and our Planetary Emergencies, as well as to enable flourishing communities as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.
It provides a range of open source digital tools covering the key components of existing Public Health and Health Systems frameworks, including:
The World Federation of Public Health ‘Global Charter for the Public’s Health’
‘A Systems Framework for Healthy Policy – Advancing Global Health Security and Sustainable Well-Being for All’ Implementation Tool for the ‘Global Charter for the Public’s Health’; The Commonwealth Secretariat, 2016, London, UK
