In 2015, I completed a Master’s degree in speech and language therapy at the University of Liège (uLiège) in Belgium.
From 2015-2019, I did my PhD at the Psychological Sciences Research Institute of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain). During these four years as a PhD student, I investigated the cognitive underpinnings of spoken and written language acquisition, as well as the nature of serial-order short-term memory and long-term consolidation mechanisms.
From 2019-2021, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Aix-Marseille Université, where I examined the interaction between serial-order learning and language by comparing human and non-human primates (i.e., baboons). A second goal of my postdoctoral research was to study whether memory encoding in humans is dependent on the way sequential information is presented.
After my two years’ stay at Aix-Marseille Université, I came back to the Psychological Sciences Research Institute of the UCLouvain, where I started to work as a postdoctoral researcher. As a member of Psyllab, I am currently investigating the cognitive risk factors of dyslexia, discalculia, and their comorbidity.
