On a weekend, apart from the few people cutting through, the park is generally left to the homeless. In most other cities, a space like this would be a meeting spot with activity throughout the day, even if it is a burial ground. Even with the work the city did do in 2013, it was really only just a patching of the asphalt and not much else. One piece that has been an improvement was the closing of Rockland Avenue next to the park and the creation of a greenway through the block. This has brought it more in context with the Christ Church Cathedral and its grounds. Unfortunately it has not resulted in a greater amount of use for the square.

While the Square, as it is now, does have pathways and grass for much of the year, there it is not a place you want to stop and relax as the grass area will be wet. In Victoria, we have a mistaken idea that a park should have as much grass as possible and this is actually contrary to encouraging the use of a park, unless it is solely for being looked at from afar. Parks should be a place to get to relax anytime of year. To solve this, the addition of a paved plaza area or two in the park would provide year round focal points. One of these, in my opinion would be best located on the corner of Meares and Quadra. In the plaza you could have a collection of benches that would be allow for people to sit without getting their shoes wet. A second one would also work at the southeast entrance to the square.

The addition of the plaza spaces would create opportunities for activity planning. To encourage use, especially on the weekends, the City could allow for some sort commercial activity. In my opinion, allowing local artists to apply for a spot to sell their art would create a vibrant opportunity for people to walk through and enjoy some art and allow artists an opportunity to make some money. From that, some buskers could also be allowed. Another opportunity would be for booksellers to sell used books in the Square. The activity itself is not the point, but instead that there is an event that people will be drawn to.

If you would need to escape special characters like '_' (underscore), as it was in my case, and you are not willing/not able to define an ESCAPE clause, you may wish to enclose the special character with square brackets '[' and ']'.

Instead of '\' or another character on the keyboard, you can also use special characters that aren't on the keyboard. Depending o your use case this might be necessary, if you don't want user input to accidentally be used as an escape character.

Hong Kong is governed by a hybrid regime that is not fully representative of the population. Legislative Council members elected by functional constituencies composed of professional and special interest groups are accountable to these narrow corporate electorates and not the general public. This electoral arrangement has guaranteed a pro-establishment majority in the legislature since the transfer of sovereignty. Similarly, the chief executive is selected by establishment politicians and corporate members of the Election Committee rather than directly elected.[133] Although universal suffrage for the chief executive and all Legislative Council elections are defined goals of Basic Law Articles 45 and 68,[134] the legislature is only partially directly elected, and the executive continues to be nominated by an unrepresentative body.[133] The government has been repeatedly petitioned to introduce direct elections for these positions.[135][136]

No, we don't mean the implicit integration test named "does my build still work?" If you actually test your plugins using Gradle TestKit, you can have high confidence that those plugins work and that your changes haven't broken anything. We have literally hundreds of such tests that run on CI (if you count their parameterization, that is); see for example the functional tests for the Dependency Analysis Gradle Plugin, whose style heavily influenced our own tests. Testing lets us iterate rapidly and confidently, and unlocks much of the rest of the improvements discussed here.

Let's recap. In this post, we have shown that even Very Large Android repos can successfully manage build performance with Gradle. Change can be achieved incrementally, and the benefits often compound. Change can also be achieved transparently, without requiring feature engineers to learn a new build system or to change their workflows in any way. Because the performance benefits accrue regularly, the work is typically self-justifying so long as you remember to benchmark constantly. None of this requires magic, but it does require dedication and a belief (which we hope to have instilled here!) that it is possible.

Nevertheless there are still problems occur with the german keyboard: does anybody know how to indent several lines of code? It's recommended to use CMD+square bracket and taaaaadaaaaa....next issue ;)

For anyone who still has this problem: I greatly advise switching to the US qwerty layout when programming. All of the special characters are easily accessible that way. Adding, and switching between, keyboard layouts is easy, no matter what OS you are using. I used to use the german qwertz layout myself for a long time, but it was always a struggle when programming.

Sometimes I see a square (with right angles) that is called a diamond just because of being rotated by 45 degrees from the position where two of the sides were horizontal and the other two vertical, but I doubt that just this rotation (which is an isometric transformation, without any deformation) is sufficient for the square to become another shape.

The standard terminology in plane geometry (if the English language even has one) is that a square is a rhombus which is also a rectangle; equivalently, in a more exhotic and minimalistic way, a kite which is also a rectangle. Of course plane geometry is invariant by the action of the group of plane isometries, and therefore it isn't concerned with the graphical rendering of a square in an "organized" space where one or more directions are more important than the others.

The Franklin Square Union Free School District believes the purpose of our special education program is to recognize each student as a unique individual, coming to us with varying abilities, interests, and needs. We believe education is one of the most important tools in life and our school district is the Foundation for Success for all of our students. We respect the differences of each student and work to provide the finest possible educational experience. We are committed to fulfilling the obligations of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. The fundamental principle behind these federal laws is that students with disabilities are provided a free and appropriate public education. All students have the right to learn in the least restrictive environment which meets their needs and provides interaction with their peers.

Still, we first seek to assist students through building level interventions. Our Response to Intervention (RTI) plan is a multi-tier general education service delivery model in each school that provides a range of research-based (or evidence-based) supplemental instructional interventions with increasing levels of intensity to address the needs. Within this practice, ongoing assessment of student achievement is closely monitored.

Our District has systems in place to identify, evaluate, and provide educational services to students with disabilities in a manner that is similar to their nondisabled peers, as deemed appropriate. Most of our students are served through District programs that include Indirect Consultant Teacher, Resource Room, Integrated Co-Teaching, Self-contained ( such as Transitional Learning Centers (TLC)/ 15:1:1 ratios and Intensive Support Programs (ISP)/ 8:1:3 ratios), and related services. An Extended Day Program is also available to our ISP students. Some students whose needs cannot be met in our in-district programs are served in other public school districts, BOCES, or nonpublic school programs. All the same, our staff continues to monitor, observe and communicate with the school placement and parents for positive learning outcomes.

The department, which includes the Director of Special Education, chairperson, school psychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, special education teachers, behavioral specialist and administrative assistants oversee the special education process for Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) and Committee on Special Education (CSE). We understand our parents to be a significant part of this process and we take pride in establishing partnerships that focus on the betterment/support of the student. Decisions are the result of the collaboration of a well-informed team.

Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA) serves as a networking opportunity and a source of information on many challenges of adjustment, growth, and development that all parents can experience.

Please note: All policies and description of programs are included in the Two-Year Plan for Special Education which is on file in the Office of Special Education for review.

We mark today the anniversary of the liberation of Europe from tyrants who had seized this continent and plunged it into a terrible war. Forty years ago today, the guns were stilled and peace began, a peace that has become the longest of this century. 2351a5e196
