You can view how much charge remains in your iPhone battery in the status bar. You can also add a widget to the Home Screen to monitor the battery levels of your iPhone and connected accessories (including AirPods and other devices).

I've been using Arctis 7 2019 Edition for a week now. Everything works fine (sounds good, no connectivity issues). I just wanted to know real percentage of the battery. That's why I made a mini indicator for myself gives me *real* battery percentage.

Why I must plug my headset to my PC after a long night charging? If I don't plug it on my PC, it shows last value. I mean, device itself knows what's the percentage, but it shows old value on the button LED. Why is that?

The battery indicator of my laptop is showing the wrong value. It constantly shows constant value, whether the battery is charging or if the laptop is in use and sometimes that constant value changes abruptly. I don't think my battery is bad. I have replaced the battery about one month ago. Also, I tried charging the battery for a long time, removed the power and ran the laptop, it worked fine about 3-4 hours before shutting due to running out of power, even though the indicator was constant and did not show a warning of low battery, and that is the battery life of my laptop. I have tried updating my battery driver, reinstalling the driver, but the problem persists. What should I do to fix it?My OS is Windows 10 Home

Right click Start to open Device Manager, under Battery choose the battery device, then Driver tab, then if available Roll Back the driver. If not available, choose Uninstall Driver, restart PC to reinstall.

Hi TI, I am looking for an IC which will sense only the voltage of the Li-ion battery and give the output, I could'nt find an IC for that in the TI website, by applying Filter's. I just want an IC that has this feature, not the complex battery Fuel Gauge. also I am looking for stand alone battery charger IC(standalone). My system works between 9-12v with current rating of 2.5A, my Batter Pack configuration is 3s,2p(11.1v, 6000mAh), and adapter rating is 65watts(15v, 4.2A). Can anyone Help me out by selecting the best suitable IC for the above ratings

I'm not aware of a standalone IC that reads the battery voltage (ADC?) and outputs a % battery charged. You might consider a ladder of low Iq supervisors like TLV840 that sense the battery voltage and report when the battery is above or below a certain % (e.g. 10%, 30%, 50%,70%).

my battery pack configuration has 3 series cells, which is 12.66v, so I have to supply around 15v to charge the battery properly, but here the problem is, idle voltage for my system is between 9 to 12v.

But if it really is not considered a bug anymore, it may not qualify for consideration this event. Regardless, I would encourage everyone who wants this percentage to return to be shown again, to vote for it as a feature request in the wishlist here:

It's great that the indicator applet tells me I have 2 hours and 12 minutes of battery left, or that it will be charged in 1 hour 8 minutes, but I might well change my pattern of usage during that time and am frankly not confused by percentages.

There is also a comment on the Ubuntu wiki that says "This coloring is deliberately time-based, not percentage-based; how much time you have left is more important than how long the battery can theoretically last."

You can click on the menu entry which says "X hours YY minutes left to (dis)charge" and it will open the battery profile dialog. That one has percentages under "Laptop Battery -> Details (scroll to bottom)"

My Sony A7Riv displays the percentage of battery life remaining, but my Panasonic S5, which I recently bought, does not. Rather it displays a battery icon with bars that drop as the battery depletes. I have been setting it up for my use and have browsed around the menus, but have not found a way to turn on the battery percentage indicator. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Important: The battery widget is available on Android 12 and later and works with devices that report battery info using Bluetooth or Google Fast Pair Service. Learn how to check your Android version.

Have the same issue on iPhone 6s, after upgrading to iOS 14.2 battery indicator goes quickly to 1%, then my phone works for hours... after restarting the device, I have 80% which again goes quickly to 1%... and the phone keeps working on 1% for another hours...

instead of having this ridiculous conversation about when 6s was released, can someone please explain why it happens to other users as well? it happened for me just after upgrading iOS to 14.2, my iphone works fine for entire day without charging. Only the battery indicator is not showing correct information!

Agreed. If battery health is fine (mine continues to show as 91% on my iPhone 7 purchased new from Apple) then something else is happening. Last night, my battery was charged to 100% at 2148 hours. This morning at 0800 it showed as 32% with (and I checked for activity in Settings>Battery) absolutely NO activity occurring. Nothing. Just checking the battery caused the status indicator to drop to 28%. Put on charger and in 6 minutes battery shows at 56%. Mighty quick charging it seems to me. I'd love to hear serious recommendations.

I have been having the bad-indicator problem on my 1st-gen iPhone SE which I purchased brand new from Best Buy in early 2018. The readings are all over the place and sometimes it takes a long time for a drop in battery charge to be reported. The reading often experiences a dramatic change after a reboot. I have gotten in the habit of rebooting the phone after a call for this specific reason, but after the reboot, sometimes it goes up and sometimes it goes down, thus it is not clear whether the cause is an overestimation of charge before the boot, or an underestimation of charge after the reboot, etc.

Yesterday the charge indicator was inexplicably at 50% for about 6 hours straight light despite usage, then when I was at the grocery store after work it suddenly went from 50% to emergency shutdown and when I rebooted it said 8%.

I did factory reset as well - didn't help at all. Yesterday I turned off the Optimised Battery Charging and left the phone for the whole night plugged into the charger. Today battery indicator seems to be much stable... Also weird thing, optimised battery charging is being turned on automatically - I'm turning it off permanently and after some time it's on again. Anyone experiencing anything similar?

I was on the phone with support a couple weeks ago explaining that I was seeing instantaneous drops of 50% or more and that clearly the battery indicator wasn't working. They stated it had to be a hardware issue, not software, but there was no explanation of why this issue didn't appear until iOS 14.

Firstly I love all your products I have a corsair k60 keyboard that has lasted me for oh so many years, I have 32GB of your corsair Vengeance RGB PRO RAM, I have your Corsair Virtuoso Headset, even a Corsair m65 Pro but your indicators on battery for your peripherals are horrendous. Low, Medium and High are not good indicators for battery health could you please add a percentage and duration left on the battery with how long left before it charges. I have tried adding the battery to the dashboard but it gives the most simple information ever it is only 2 states charging or usb mode.

Low, Medium and High is not a good indicator for battery life. My daily driver mouse the G903 gives me a good indicator on how much battery life i have left and a percentage i prefer to use iCue but this is a big let down for me please do change this.

In case you haven't worked it out, for those of you who, like me, really relied on the feature in the old software showing the percentage of battery life remaining, here is the very poor replacement. From the Home screen on the app, select the Phone and watch symbol in the top left of screen. Then select the device you have. All you get is low, medium, full. No percentage. I know, rubbish right. The new software has brought in the need for more key depressions, not great for my arthritic fingers, to get less information. I don't often say this but the people who designed the new software need firing.

@Nickyhelp Nice to see you in the forums again. Appreciate your feedback and instructions where to find the battery status on the new Fitbit app. I understand it was useful to have this information on the app as well. For the time being, I have been checking the battery directly on my device. Depending on which Fitbit device you have, you can check the battery status on the settings. On a Fitbit Sense for example, you can swipe right to see the battery level in percentage. On the Charge 5 on the other hand, you have to swipe up, the battery level will be shown at the top of the screen.

The light on my Charge 3 doesn't work, so I am completely reliant on the app for steps, hours walked 250 steps, etc. A battery life percentage is more precise than "medium". Is there a chance of returning to something that worked and conveyed useful information? Thank you.

Agree. It is so bad. Boring to look at. More difficult to use. I hate it. Thanks for battery info. Not great. It was always first reminder to charge up. Why to they feel the need to mend what ain't broken. Awful.

no battery percentage right on the first page? And you call that an upgrade? I really hate when the engineer do think that they know what the users need ! Do we need to search for information? Do we need to click on more "buttons"? Upgrade shall make things more easy and user-friendly.

no floor counter on the 5? I decided to use the 4 with a completely black display to train and the 5 for normal use and for sleeping. So I depend on the battery percentage (with the changing color) being shown right of the first page. So the latest upgrade sucks!

I think someone is being somewhat arrogantly hard on a guy sharing pretty good knowledge of principle. The indicator SIDE circuit based on the SERIES LED and PARALLEL resistance total 'ss, works on voltage not amps, for ANY of the ??# batts available at ?? # voltages as well as 12-15, not more than 15 and ohms law with standard terminology (VOLT/AMP) says 15 volts 15 amps 2 each dropping equally as the Volt/Amps reduce and you could simply place a bypass pathway regulated for over amps! Very basic, straight forward, PERFECT circuit, lacking explanation for newbies. No pun intended! Happy Making! 2351a5e196
