Abisoye joined the lab in the Spring of 2024. She has a M.Sc. in Biochemistry (Molecular Drug Metabolism and Toxicology) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She is currently interested in developing small-molecule fluorophores for metal-sensing in living systems. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and listening to music.

EM joined the lab in the Fall of 2023. She graduated with her Honors B.S. in Chemistry from Saint Anselm College in 2021. Currently, she is mentoring: Amira, and Maryam. In her free time, she likes to read, dance, and cook!

Clare joined the lab in the Fall of 2024. She graduated from the College of William & Mary with a B.S. in Chemistry. Since graduating, she worked as a Research & Development team at Zerra Therapeutics, a rate disease pharmaceutical company. Outside of research, Clare loves to hike, travel, read, and bake.

Alexandra Gomez is a first-generation pre-med in her junior at George Mason University. She is expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health with a concentration in Clinical Science. She joined the lab in the Fall of 2025. Outside of her academic pursuits, she enjoys shopping, reading, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.

Anh Nguyen is a Chemistry major at George Mason University with interests in organic synthesis and analytical methods. Since Spring 2025, Anh has been an undergraduate researcher in the Dilek’s Lab. Outside of chemistry, Anh enjoys hiking and playing the piano.
