Our Strive

The specific style that is being strived for is on the taller size of the Dorper standard, long bodied, sound on their feet, feminine ewes, masculine rams, and all with good balance.  They are raised on pasture, given a good mineral, show lambs are grained, and the Stud Rams are kept out on poor pasture.  It is important that the stud rams maintain their body condition on the poor pasture and can perform their duties.  The most important part of Ozark Ranch's mission is glorifying God and helping others learn about sheep.
