Ozark Ranch was formed in 2016 by Brandon and Amanda Clark and their three children; Clayton, Ella and James Clark. Amanda grew up raising sheep with her grandfather and then on her own in her late high school years. So many years of sheep knowledge combined with Brandon's hard working skills and the Lord's Provision, Ozark Ranch was developed. Through the last 10 years the farm has grown from their first Dorpers purchased at NAILE, the National Show and Sale, as well as the Tennessee Dorper Sale.
Brandon focused on diversifying the genetics and culling hard on the off spring that did not fit the Dorper Type. Amanda is certified in the Dorper Standards. Ozark Ranch also did some Embryo and Semen from KAYA as well as in 2025 have 3 embryos born to continue to diversify the genetics. The most important part of Ozark Ranch's mission is glorifying God and helping others learn about sheep. So much so that Ella has taken on doing a milk share with several ewes to provide the family with fresh milk. Clayton manages the electric fence and all the main construction projects. James takes on the duties of mechanic for all the farm equipment.
This is a family owned and ran operation. The quality of Dorpers has continued to improve with how they are breeding and culling very hard the last 10 years. This last year their received Supreme Champion Ram at the Ozark Empire Fair in 2025. Their ewe lambs are in good production in several national Dorper Breeders Operations.
