Parents/POPs

Any successful music organization depends on involved and committed parents — that's you!  This page provides information we hope will be helpful to orchestra parents, as well as information about our orchestra booster organization (POPs). Olathe West Orchestras are fortunate to have support from a strong "parliament of parents" (a group of owls is called a "parliament") and we encourage all parents to find a small way to get involved!

We are assembling volunteers for the 2024-2025 school year. Please visit our SignUp Genius to see which events could benefit from your special talents! 

All parents/guardians of OW orchestra students are automatically members of the Olathe West Orchestra Parliament of Parents (POPs) booster organization. Parents/guardians (and students!) are encouraged to attend our regular organization meetings, which occur three to four times per year. The executive board meets monthly and reports at these regular organization meetings. Our current officers and meeting schedule are listed below. POPs bylaws, annual events listing, and meeting minutes can be found in the document repository below.

Orchestra POPs is accepting donations using Venmo (@OWOrchestraPOPs) or you may send a check (made out to Orchestra POPs Club) to the orchestra room.
