Explore advocacy as a tool for change
Discuss Emmanuel’s Dream and reflect on role models
Mentors and mentees share moments of speaking up
Mentors guide discussions about passions and goals
Activity: “Me, Now vs. Me, Later”
Encourage mentees to imagine their lives with confidence
Talk about social stigma and how to respond to it
Explore empathy, inclusion, and community support
Activity: Design a “club” or space that promotes acceptance
Introduce advocacy project ideas
Solo brainstorming + small group sharing
Narrow down each mentee’s project focus
Mentors help mentees refine their ideas
Develop action steps (“What do I need to do next?”)
Encourage flexibility and creativity
Practice presenting project progress
Peer feedback: “Two things I loved + one question”
Final adjustments before celebration
Mentees present their projects to the group, family, and community
Reflection circle: “What I learned about myself”
Certificates, recognition, and encouragement to stay engaged
